The former creative director of Balenciaga Nicholas Ghesquière departed from the house on November 30 to be replaced by Alexander Wang. But where Ghesquière is heading next is yet unconfirmed and the fashion industry is undoubtly dying of curiousity what his next move might be. Will he start his own house, move to another or simply quit?

On December 4, it was apparently noticed that Ghesquière had set up a Twitter account, but did not make a sound until exactly one month later, as of January 4 with the tweet “Thank you to all of you for such a fantastic welcome !”, including a picture of a Star Wars helmet. Now, how are we going to interpret this?
